SendFast is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application, website, and related logistics services (collectively, the "Platform").
Whether you are sending a local package, utilizing our peer-to-peer international flight network, or acting as a verified deliverer, your trust is our highest priority.
2. Information We Collect
To facilitate secure global logistics, we collect specific data points:
- Personal & Account InformationName, email address, phone number, and profile picture when you register.
- Identity Verification (KYC)For users participating in peer-to-peer international flights, we collect government-issued IDs, passport details, and travel itineraries to comply with international transport laws and ensure platform safety.
- Financial DataTo utilize our Escrow Security feature, we collect payment details. Note that raw credit card data is securely tokenized and handled by our third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe).
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your data strictly to execute and improve the SendFast experience:
- To connect senders with verified travelers and local couriers.
- To process escrow payments and release funds upon delivery confirmation.
- To provide live, real-time map tracking for active shipments.
- To perform fraud prevention, background checks, and compliance audits.
5. Location & Tracking Data
Live Tracking is a core feature of SendFast. If you act as a deliverer, we collect background location data from your device while a delivery is active. This data is shared securely with the sender. Location tracking immediately terminates once the package is marked as delivered and the escrow is released.
6. Security & Retention
We implement bank-grade encryption (AES-256) for data at rest and TLS 1.3 for data in transit. Identity verification documents are encrypted and automatically purged after legal retention periods expire. We retain your account data only as long as your account remains active or as required by international shipping compliance laws.
7. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (such as GDPR in Europe or CCPA in California), you have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Opt-out of non-essential marketing communications.
